Bernard/Allison Management Services, Inc. offers a variety of employee benefits to our full-time employees including health, dental and vision insurance coverage; short and long-term disability insurance; life insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; paid sick, vacation and holidays and other benefits.  We are committed to providing a comprehensive benefits package to our employees. These benefits are reviewed annually and are subject to change. In a conflict between the information below and Bernard/Allison's summary plan descriptions, summary plan descriptions prevail.

 

Insurance Availability
Insurance is available on the first of the month following the completion of three months of employment for eligible employees.  Eligible employees are those that are scheduled for and work 30 or more hours per week consistently.
Health & Vision Insurance
Employees may choose either a POS or a PPO health plan.  Bernard/Allison pays a portion of the premium.  Vision coverage is a component of the health plan.
Dental Insurance
Employees may choose either a DMO (where available) or PPO plan for themselves and their dependents
Short and Long Term Disability
Short and long-term disability insurance provides employees with income in the event he or she becomes disabled.  Employees may purchase short and long term disability insurance through payroll deduction.  Short-term coverage begins after the 15th day of disability and continues up to a maximum of 6 months.  Long-term coverage begins after 6 months of a disability and continues to the end of the disability or Social Security Normal Retirement Age (SSNRA) for disabilities prior to age 60.
401(k) Retirement Plan
Bernard/Allison has established a 401(k) Retirement Plan to allow employees the opportunity to supplement income upon retirement.  After an employee has completed three months of service (working at least 250 hours), he or she is eligible to enter the plan if the employee is at least 18years of age. Employees may contribute between 1% and 20% of his or her salary to the plan. Bernard/Allison makes a matching contribution annually based on profits for the plan year.
Vacation Benefits
Eligible employees are able to take accrued vacation after the first of the month following six months of employment.  Eligible employees can earn up to 40 hours of vacation time for every 6 months of full-time employment.  After 1 year of employment, an employee will earn an extra 8 hours vacation time per year until he or she has accrues a maximum of 120 hours per year.
Sick Leave Benefits
Eligible employees are able to take accrued sick time after completing 90 days of full-time employment.  Full- time employees can earn up to 80 hours of sick time per year and accumulate up to 320 hours.
Holidays

Full-time employees are eligible to receive seven paid holidays per year, one of which is a "floating" holiday.

For some positions, it is beneficial for an employee to live at the site where they work. Those employees may be eligible to receive a free apartment.  All others who live on-site are eligible to receive a 20% discount on their rent.

Employees may take advantage of Bernard/Allison's corporate purchasing discounts with vendors.  Employees may make purchases from our approved vendors and receive substantial discounts on products and services.

Service employees are provided with Bernard/Allison approved uniforms.

Bernard/Allison is a member of the Arizona Central Credit Union and all employees are eligible to become members.

Employees are eligible to sign-up for direct deposit of their payroll checks to a bank or financial institution of their choice.
